Creating your own font had always been some kind of gatekeeped secret for design specialists. But with the help of some grainy vibecoding and some skills, we can have that web-based and free. TURBOFONTER v 1.0 comes with all basic functionality like loading handdrawn image files, thresholding them, converting each letter into vector, individually adjust each letter and outputting a proper Ture Type Font file you can install at your system. TURBOFONTER also comes with a minimal project saving function – so you can edit your handmade font later on. Do not expect professional typography features here! This is a fun project. I like 🙂
